    Why don't we just employ a motion sensor system so the lights come on when anybody walks down the street. I'd hate to get mugged cuz I left my cellphone at home.

    I agree with "motion activated" lights... and maybe fewer than 15 minutes? I would probably only need the streetlight for less than 5 minutes. And stray cats would turn them on all night!

    Hehe, no, citizen, big brother doesn't *require* you to report your position to us every 15 minutes. Of course, not turning on the lights *is* rather suspicious behavior and may get you arrested.
