OhGizmo!: Decode Clock Is Hard To Read, Lacks Hour Hand

    Although thats not really true anymore since all Apple mice are two button....even if it doesn't look like it.

    So, then what's the other hand? The second hand? Why can't that be the hour hand? It doesn't say anywhere on the site that it hasn't got an hour hand
  • ALLEN · 1 year ago
    SO, THE LONG ONE MUST BE THE HOUR AND THE SHORT IS THE MINUITE HAND-
    THE HOUR HAND PROBABLY STAYS IN ONLY THE 12 POSITIONS AND "JUMP HOUR" TO THE NEXT HOUR. IT'S AN OLD-FASIONED STYLE WATCH/CLOCK THAT YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF.
    WHAT'S THE ISSUE, NOW?

    @Allen:
    Good. Keep writing in CAPS. That way you'll be sure that everyone reads your comment and respects you and think you are wise.

    It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the large hand that allows you to decipher the hour is the hour hand, and the thin hand is the minute hand. The hour hand stays over the hour so it can be read and doesn't move until the minute hand makes a full swing through 59 minutes. When the minute hand hits 60 minutes, the hour hand clicks ahead to the next hour and the cycle repeats itself.

    My Apple mouse has five different "buttons". Apple has been shipping multi-button mice for years now. Time for a new analogy...

    "It’s kind of like hooking up an Apple mouse to your PC; it looks really cool, but without the ability to right-click it just sucks."
    Shows that you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about.
