I was positively giddy that they're adding Nickelodeon to their HD bronze package because we'll be able to completely forgo an SD package if we switch to Dish. But then I looked up to make sure Nick Jr. is the same as Nickelodeon and it turns out it only is until September of this year when they will break it out into it's own channel to replace Noggin, which is a channel that only comes in their Silver SD package.

Dish Network is not giving MTV and Vh1 to Turbo HD subscribers. This is a terrible miscalculation by Charlie Ergen who promised more than 150 HD channels last year.

Dish subscribers will be abandoning Dish for DirecTV in droves.

I love BET and I don't mind paying $22.99/mo (the current rate for Classic Silver 200). DirecTV is nice but for some reason I prefer Dish because they also offer international programming. I speak French (and a little Portuguese).
