I bought an oversized Ultra cooler, but in the end I didn't put it in. Not sure why. Like you said, it seemed like overkill for something that's supposed to be an office machine.

But no, it's fast. Those 4GB of RAM sure help. :)

Re: Norton Home Office PC Build: No More Videos… Pics Instead!

Not bad, although the CPU is fairly dated, and you could've gotten something a bit beefier for your $1000 budget....perhaps an E8400...

Also, whenever I see a stock heatsink used I simply cringe. I know there's nothing wrong with using one for an Office PC where you're not planning to overclock...but they're just so bad...>.>

Anyway, it's looking good :) Those HDDs with the 32MB cache should be pumping out around 80mbps so that's great as well- nice, speedy start ups...lets hope the aged 4600 won't drag your system down.

Re: Norton Home Office PC Build: No More Videos… Pics Instead!

Lol... You're not supposed to say "low-quality", just call it "artistic" and people will come from miles to see your brilliant view of today's technological society.

But to answer your question, yes, you're obsessed with it ;)
