Knowing the art sensibilities of most Americans (of the northern, USA persuasion) I'm not sure making their fridge their own is such a good idea.
That said, it'd rock for letting the kids draw on.

oh come on! what is the big deal here? get a dry-erase marker and draw on your fridge, it works the same, just like drawing on those smooth formica surfaces!

That's amazing, kids will love it . To Tirso BBB... you couldn't be dumber, go on and write "I am a Loser" on your poor old refrigerator... Damn envy...
