"I’m pretty much content with just turning off my phone" nope! think again. only removing the battery "could" make you safe. that has been know'n for near 10 years to those to who it matters.....

Now with google using cellphone towers to triangulate GPS for peeps without gps and using cellphones in there off or on positions this would be a good device if you dont want joe shmoe finding where u are or where your going.

I would buy one of these for practical reasons... Being in the military it would be nice not to have to turn my phone off before every formation. I just slip it in it's case, and no interuption. It's a great idea for people that spend a lot of time in meetings or formal settings.

I'm sure that convenience was why this thing was invented. And I like it.
