  • Anyone else notice the Apple monitor/Flurry screensaver in the background of Jay Z's part? Nice.
  • At the keynote address of Bill Gates at the 2008 CES, Robbie Bach snubbed Bill by not giving him a proper sign-off at the end of his hour-long keynote. This was Bill's last CES keynote address (his first was in 1994), and was therefore a momentous occasion for him and for all who had attended. At the close of the keynote Robbie yelled, "I will see you again next year!" with Bill Gates standing directly next to him (who wouldn't be returning next year). Nothing else was said by either party and Bill could be seen nodding his head in disbelief and embarrassment. Robbie was too much into his own ego and did not think to thank or congratulate Bill for his efforts. Robbie could have at least said farewell to Bill Gates (who is stepping down as Microsoft's CEO but will remain as Chairman), allowing the audience an opportunity to give Bill a well-deserved standing ovation for his incredible work over the years in transitioning our world into the digital era. At the beginning of Bill's keynote, a video was presented that featured many A-list celebrities and politicians who all wanted to publicly show their respect and admiration for Bill Gates. Despite this video and the constant reminder throughout the event that this would indeed be Bill's last CES keynote address, Robbie Bach still could not stop thinking of himself long enough to give his boss (Bill Gates) the respect and recognition he so rightfully deserves.
  • The best part had to be the celebrity cameos!
