  • These have been in stores for a good 2 + years now......... At least in Cali. A tad late on this one!
  • I think apples taste great just like they are, what exactly is the point of the grape flavoring?
  • They have been in Chicagoland groceries for over 2 years as well.
  • I've seen these in Trader Joes in California for at least the past 5 years
  • They taste like kids' medicine. Took a bite of one and spit it out. This takes gilding the lilly to a whole new level.
  • yeah andrew, you're not missing anything. I was wicked excited to try them and the basically smell like a grape, but taste like an apple. and if you read closely, you'll see they use artifical flavoring.
  • If they wanted it pronounced Grape-L they should've spelled it Graple? Two p's means it should be pronounced Gr-apple. As in "They are Grrrrreat" ;-)
  • My girl just brought some home this past weekend. I was thrilled. The smell is wonderful...but the taste was that of an apple. If you love that KoolAid grape taste...save your money and buy some regular apples, roll them around in Grape KoolAid...DIY Grapple.
  • My Harris Teeter has had these on the shelves for at least 6+ months... I've never brought myself to purchase them though. But hey, I like the way regular (cheap) apples taste.
