    Aw, I take it the flotor isn't totally free floating but is attached through this stick to the internal levitation mechanics that do the actual 'heavy lifting'? Because if it was, 40 newtons over a motion range of, say, 2 centimetres, an accelerated mass of 50 grams or so... this should give it enough oomph to chuck it 2 metres into the air at an unsuspecting user. :)
