    I'd rather have one that I could hook up to my WiFi router so that I could boost the signal in a specific direction. As it is this kind of defeats the point of having wireless in the first place unless you use wireless on your desktop.

    oh, that is *sweet*. like a wifi version of those low-end theory TV antennae that pretended to be satellite dishes. I want two: one for each ear...
