    Screw Mario Bros, those are the things that Springheeled Jack is wearing in the early part of Charles Stross's novel 'Accelerando'. Sometimes the insanity of an idea is vastly outweighed by its science-fictional cool factor. This is one of those times.

    Not sure I'd wanna try them out myself, though...

    Power Boots boots will be for sale in England for around 1500 sterlings. As they say their developers team have nearly 60 other crazy ideas working.
    As an excuse to not demonstrating max speed they say that the guy jumps on straight legs with an unusual feeling that somebody's pulling him at the back. Need time to get used.
    . They intend to provide police and delivery services with such power boots in the future.. so watch out :)

    it doesnt seem that you can dou high jumps from stand. also this guy has problems steering and balancing itself..

    for power i would prefer the kangaroo-boots over this. (no engine, more power)

    Kindof reminds me of the movie forestgump. looks like a toy for a special needs child rather then a fast adrenaline rush.

    I think they're saying "You'd have to be a bit weird to buy these... they can kill you!!! Have fun watching a clip of a man then a woman (assisted) run around!
