    So, I assume that the remote module that plugs into the docking port has a pass-through port of its own? Otherwise it kind of defeats that whole "keep your iPod docked" scenario.

    Hmm, the actual description on the Hammacher Schlemmer site mentions nothing about using this with an iPod that is docked for use with a home stereo system. "Connected to" yes, but not "docked". So I guess they're expecting you to run the headphone output to your stereo input? What kind of idiot does that?
