Fun idea but dodgy at best methinks. Applying this stuff to your wheels would take longer than mounting actual snowchains. You can get very cheap + good + compact snowchains these days - they are easy to install and won't scream "stupid tourist" at everyone. Think twice :)

Might be good to have for emergencies besides those emergency compact snow chains, in case the chains break (not likely, but some people like to prepare for everything).
