I'm sure that pipe in the middle is the chimney. What I'm curious about is how it gets fresh air into it. This definitely is a killer design. How come nobody here in America is coming up with as cool of designs as people form Europe? I'm only saying that because I came across Ecoteck wood pellet stoves the other day, and they are imported from Italy. Why can't we make units like this?

Very interesting design. I wonder if these unique styles are available for use with pellets. Pellet stoves are more energy efficient and clean burning.
