    I agree with the scratching pbs.. especially on laptop screens ! For CRT screens I assume they'll have to be flat screens...

    But this kind of tracking is still very interesting being used in the place of a tablet ! (i imagine if on a side of the laptop where the mouse is supposed to move)

    I have slved the scraching screen problem on mobile PCs
    Most mobile PCs have a 1/16" lip around the edge of the screen
    Presition cut 1/16" glass to fit your screen and silicone it around the edge to hold it in place

    Warning! breaking this glass can break your screen as you screen glass is 1/32" thick and is softer than the regular glass. this process also makes your pc heavier and less shock resistant

    on the scratching prb.... they come with a protective cover which as far as i can tell from mine is plexiglass....
