I use to use a 8Gb Survivor GT to run my portable apps off of but I found it too unstable.. you can follow my support conversation here ( http://www.asktheramguy.com/v3/showthread.php?t...), so buyer beware if you are thinking of using this for running portable apps you may run into some problems. I ended up with an Iomega eGo instead.

"This helps serve as a shock observer should the flash drive ever land exactly horizontal to the ground,"

I believe you mean 'shock absorber'.

Ha, yeah, I guess 'absorber' would probably work better.

Can one purchase an additional "Cap" (NonMemory) and the rubber gasket in the device for the Corsair Survivor to replace the ones which is lost/destroyed?
    Thanks,

The biggest problem with this item seems to be its speed. It took an hour and a half to copy 14 gigabytes, all my music, pictures and videos. I had about 8 GB of music files, and each tune took 3 or 4 seconds. It is obviously sturdy and has a great screw-on cover. However, it's a bit heavier and bulkier than the usual lightweight plastic ones, so your pocket will be heavier if you attach it to a key ring. The little attachment holes at both ends are a bit too small, but the dog tag ring fits, so a key ring can be attached to it. As for long term accuracy and reliability, only time will tell.

I'm looking for a 32 GB USB Flash Memory for my new car stereo (JVC) with USB connection but i was quite undecided about Corsair or OCZ but I got really surprised when i read here......."Due to its capacity it’s not compatible with all devices that accept a USB flash drive. (Car stereos etc.)" ......i knew that isn't possible to connect a big capacity USB HDD but and USB Stick? Why? is 32 Gb too much for a car Stereo or only this one? my stereo doesn't show any specification about this. Could you tell me what i should do please? Thanks in advance!
