Please.&lt;br&gt;A theory does not mean an unsubstantiated guess or hunch. A theory is a logically self-consistent model or framework for describing the behavior of a related set of natural or social phenomena.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Why does it matter? In the fight, and yes, it is a fight, for Reason to to triumph over Belief, we need to use the right words in the correct way. Because if we let belief win, we have never-ending religious war.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;So there's no such thing as only a theory. Theories are big, solid, sound and strong.
