    ACTUALLY, MOST HUNTERS AND FIELD DOG ENTHUSIASTS USE A VERY SIMILAR SYSTEM OF A BEEPING COLLAR TO LOCATE THEIR DOGS IN THE FIELD WHERE HIGH GRASS OR OTHER OBSTRUCTIONS WOULD MAKE VISUALLY LOCATING THE DOG DIFFICULT. WHAT YOU COULD POINT OUT IS HOW COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS A DOG WOULD LOOK WITH THIS PARTICULAR PRODUCT HANGING AROUND THEIR NECKS. AS FAR AS THE DECIBELS; DOGS HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO THE CRACK OF A SHOTGUN OR RIFLE FOR OVER A HUNDRED YEARS, I DON'T THINK A BEEP IS REALLY GOING TO COME ANYWHERE CLOSE TO THE DAMAGE THE SOUND OF A GUN FIRING CAN/DOES CAUSE.

    Well the animals hearing WAS better than ours but isn't now that we use this thing.
    Snide comments aside, wouldn't it be nicer and more effective to just have the remote beep when it's pointed in the right direction?

    I highly doubt the dogs are within inches of the shotgun barrel. Nice way to kill their hearing. Stay away from this product for your dog's sake.
