  This doesn't make a single car garage a dual car garage. It makes a dual car garage a dual car garage.

  Would be good for people with limited storage space. Could stash away things push the down button and it would disappear.

  Make sure you move the car parked on top of the lift before you go to get the car underneath, unless of course you have very high ceilings in you garage.

  I saw a version of this on Beyond 2000 on the Discovery Channel way back in the early 90's. I wonder if it's related to this company?

  No, that's the unique space-saving feature! After you raise the lift, the McLaren F1 that had been parked on top will now be only 11 inches tall!
