i love/loathe philippe starck as much as the next industrial designer, but honestly, what the hell is this?!? i'll tell you what it is, it's freakin' creeeeepy. want to give that special child nightmares? give them this. and don't forget to tell them the bedtime story of how the teddy bear killed the other animals, and keeps their heads as trophies.

On the other hand, never underestimate the imagination and abstraction capability of a child's mind. Probably most kids would happily accept it like that. But imagine them growing up to become bioengineers...
