    I like the way Philips (and more CE producers) is thinking. Instead of making us drool with all sorts of prototype products, they actually release a lot of them in selected markets and small number. Instead of only targeting mass consumers, they are creating a diversion in their products, sort of testing the markets in a more practical way.
    I like that.

    Mood lighting works. I'm curious about the warmth (literal warmth) of the Philips LED products.

    This product is already available in (Dutch) stores, for.... 150 euro! 150 euros for a moodlight using 4 LEDs delivering 120 lumen (comparable to a 15 watt lamp)...

    I'm starting to see these guys around in the States now. They have a diffraction grading system which is true color and can be used in fiber optics, Illuminators, etc. Pretty cool stuff! http://www.lightbeaminc.com
