The references to "sticker peeling fun" above are funny, because these stickers will peel themselves off the cube after a few weeks. Also, its voice/sounds were recorded with a really low sampling rate, resulting in that background static noise that is the hallmark of the crappiest electronic toys out there. It's a grating sound that makes you want to turn it off after 30 seconds. Pressing the buttons to make the warning sounds stop is more an exercise in pain-avoidance than game play.

This is a swindle, pure and simple.

Re: OhGizmo! » Archive » Rubik’s Revolution

"The original Rubik’s Cube provided hours of sticker peeling fun"

hahaha - i like your humor =) I would prefer the sticker one :P

Re: OhGizmo! » Archive » Rubik’s Revolution

It looks like a first-iteration Menger sponge. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menger_sponge

Might even be feasible to make a real-world puzzle from the second iteration. And if you need the extra kick, there's always a next level. :)

Re: OhGizmo! » Archive » Rubik’s Revolution

I liked the original one.
