Now, I wonder how much this kind of bed costs.

Re: Selfy The Self-Making Bed

Think "The Fifth Element" people - Bruce Willis had a bed that made itself, science fiction is how we give ourselves ideas of what can be done. This bed will be the way of the future, it'll be the rich who have real people making their beds, and the rest of us poor schlums will have the Selfy Bed. Wait and see.

Re: Selfy The Self-Making Bed

I believe that the bedrails are at first pushed in flush with the bed to allow the person to get out. Then once the person is off the bed there are buttons at the foot of the bed to bring the rails out and to commence the straightening of sheet and bed making.
The invention is a grand idea but it needs work from what i can see. Unless a blanket and sheet are somehow attached together at the side of the rails to allow for the bed to be completely made and not just with a sheet i don't see much value in it. Also how is it tucked?
Nevertheless its worthwhile replicating something like this on my own bed at home, cuz i sure hate making beds.
For my teenage son this technology would be a GOd send. LOL

Re: Selfy The Self-Making Bed

I could never understand bedmaking. You make it , mess it up, repeat, make, mess, repeat. I prefer the mess, repeat, mess system.

Re: Selfy The Self-Making Bed

Thats an invention for rich, who are lazybones. But then too its a nice use of technology & creativity.

Re: Selfy The Self-Making Bed

I wonder if a person is too sick to make his/her own bed, how can they manage those metal hurdles on the bedside... :D
