  I agree, this was yet another reason why things such as magazines really should be only used for fancy nice things like glossy pictures for your dorm wall and not journalism.
  
  Next thing Bus. Week should cover is how moon rocks are the frosting on Krispy Kreme, see it's that easy to make up stuff and get others interested. Mmmmmm Donuts!

  The $60 million figuer came from assuming that Rose owned 30% of Digg. And then, assuming that Digg could be worth $200 million. The article suggests that the $200 figure is just plain crazy. But you know something, something is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. Murdoch paid $500 or so millions for MySpace. So, despite no real business model, that?s how much MySpace is worth.
  
  If someone is willing to pay $200 million for Digg, then that?s what it?s worth. Sure, at this point, it may not generate much more than $3 million a year, but people are wiolling to pay for potential. And, to be able to reach more than a million ppl daily, to be able to shift public opinion? thjat?s priceless for some.

  I've been waiting to get to Japan forever.... I'm here... So many things are overpriced... It took me 3 days to find a 4 gig MS Duo in Akihabara... when I did, the store wanted 28,200 yen.. thats over $250!!! They list on Sonystyle for 169.99!! I can't find certain DAP's that are available in the states already... Zen v anyone? On sale at Creative's site. It's this way with almost all consumer electronics except cell phones here... I'm so bummed..I'm stuck here for 4 more weeks!!! Will I be able to find my precious IubI Blue I crave so???? I guess I'll find out. My white psp is superfly though! Plays all my US games fine and dandy! ...I can't wait to get home to buy some gadgets....

  I don't know about the DIGG thing. I thought that would be a fad, but it has stayed longer than I thought. The article about women prefering caught my eye, being a woman. The reasoning behind that could be that technology has become more of a staple of having money than diamonds. Most people can get a diamond, but not everyone can get the latest and maybe not so greatest depending on the bugs, tech that's out. Also, women seem to accesorize more with their tech than they do with their jewelry. Just what I have seen with that. I don't wear jewelry at all and have always been into tech :p Also found this statement very interesting considering they are all ways to communicate and they aren't areas that are particularly difficult to deal with:

  @ Sleepybluekitty. But, like deBeers likes to remind everyone, diamonds last forever. Doesn't it make more sense to drop $6k on something that isn't going to be obsolete in five year's time?
