    I think I'll just stick with putting dead batteries in the remote control :P.

    IR LED + Resistors + Battery = IR Jammer. Turn on an IR LED and aim at the TV and it will block any other signal. No way is this worth 10 bucks, the profit margin on this thing must be like 5000%

    Could this block the "laser" speed guns the cops use? They are basically IR devices, and the jammers you buy are just a array of LED?s... :)

    Yeah, rightly. I'm just making one of these, it is quite simple, about ?1.50 ($2.90) worth of stuff used. Not worth buying, but a good idea for the lazy of us.

    I just picked up a jammer from cellphonejammer.cn and used it in the mall....OMG, so much fun!
