To bad Vtech phones are pieces of garbage. We had them at my old job RadioShack) and got easily 80% of them back. The only reason they sell is because of the price.

This is quite interesting in my opinion, but at the same time, almost worthless. I mean, all I carry with me is my cell phone, and when I'm home, I rarely ever pick up the phone cause I always tell people call or text me on my mobile. But what good would it do to be able to text from a house phone? You might as well use some online texting service. Plus, its way to expensive for a piece of junk like that.

Have a Vtech phone for 2 yrs now, no problems, I recently bought this phone for my teenager, who, like others her age, love using IM on the PC. At least now she can IM from other area's of the home without expensive text message rates and not be tied up to her desktop in her room.
