This reminds me of when Michael (from The Office) burned his foot on his George Foreman grill.

“I enjoy having breakfast in bed. I like waking up to the smell of bacon, sue me. And since I don't have a butler, I have to do it myself. So, most nights before I go to bed, I will lay six strips of bacon out on my George Foreman grill. Then I go to sleep. When I wake up, I plug in the grill. I go back to sleep again. Then I wake up to the smell of crackling bacon. It is delicious, it's good for me; it's the perfect way to start the day.”

I hate whatever makes me wake up, so i would eventually hate bacon. :/

Cool Ideal. Of course, you could wake up, eat the bacon, and go back to sleep happy.

@Greg: Of course. I am perfectly capable of eating in my sleep. Wake up, gulp down, back to sleep in less than 2 minutes!

I don't think this will ever see production as described. *Sliced* bacon should not be left at room temperature for eight hours before consumption. I do loves the bacon tho!

regarding the comment about leaving bacon out overnight...how about they had in a UV sanitizing light in there, to prevent unwanted bacteria build-up? haha

i actually don't like bacon that much, but i will admit that waking up to someone making breakfast, and smelling that bacon smell is a pretty good way to wake up.

Wow, and to think, they were even smart enough to include a backup backup alarm in case you don't wake up from their small alarm:
    a) clock is made of wood
    b) bacon keeps cooking if you don't get up to eat it
    c) clock catches fire
    d) you get woken up by a 90-decibel smoke alarm screeching : D
