  what if someone within 32 feet of you needs to call 911 or someone needs to call them and notify them of an emergency?

  What did people do before cell phones? I guess there was no such thing as emergencies before cell phones. and you're only turning it on for a few seconds at a time to make annoying people drop their calls.

  if someone is having an emergency then you will know it as you will be within 32 feet of that same emergency. Problem solved. Call 911 and be done with it already. Why is it that the same people who talk loudly on their cell phones are the same people who don't know when to shut off the jammer during an emergency?

  If you get caught using one of those here in Finland, you may end in jail for up to two years. To use a jammer, you probably need a license from police but they won't give one to a private person. How is it elsewhere?

  i am not sure weather it is legal in all countrys.
  but if you are sure of what yu are doing - you can get one for about 1000 rubels ( divided by 30 ~>33$) in russia (disguised as portable radio).
  and i am sure this thing can be build at home - it cant be to complex..

  maybe you should point out that cell phone jammers are illegal in the u.s.
  blocking a potential emergency call is a no-no. buy one, use it... but don't get caught with it.
