oh if I'm stupid enough to spend that much on a stroller, I'm not going to let my kid get out of it. He/she is going to be sitting in it ALL DAY!

I think the "eats your baby" is not a friendly utterance. The positive attributes you stated were enough to convince parents to buy baby strollers that will somehow give them (not only the baby) comfort: financially and emotionally. Although this is quite sometime, just want to say my thoughts.
