this almost seems like a bad idea... not to say it's not functional or anything, but it does seem like an invitation to be used as an alternate weapon by every angry wife out there that is too tired to dig out the frying pan.

Mmmm toasted croissants. If it's faster than pre-heating my oven, it'd be one more appliance to clutter my counter.

A toaster oven is cheaper so I think I will go with that.
