Cool. I could see how this could be a real time saver for some things.

But what can you possibly cook at 140°C (aka 284°F)? I've rarely used my oven at a temperature lower than 350°F

This stuff sounds great until you see the price. Talk about confusing kids with "hot" stuff.

i can't see any use for this. the only things i ever mix can't be cooked until they're mixed

I agree with the others. I'm betting its for gravy or some other liquid that needs to be heated while you mix it.

maybe a bowl shaped cake. This just confuses me.

So for 1600 smackers I can make some gravy and steam some food above it? Is this high living?

For 1600 bucks it better cook, serve, clear the table, wash the dishes and satisfy me in bed.

I love gadgets. And I especially love kitchen gadgets. And this is one for my "Super-Expensive-Slightly-Impractical-Gadgets-I-Will-Never-Own" list.

Talk about a Slow Cooker.. And there is absolutely no use for this over priced gravy warmer.

This is actually quite perfect for making high end, very delicate desserts, like making your own caramel or heating milk without scorching or making your own chocolate. I actually had the same idea for this many months ago. I'm glad this is out, though the price is a bit, and the design needs adjusting. But a brilliant idea, just not worth the price for the moment, but it will come down eventually.
