Hi. I wanted to know if anyone out there had information regarding the new mini display port to HDMI connector. I have a new 15" 2.8GHz Macbook Pro and was going to purchase the Dell 30" 3008DWF. Will this cable allow optimal resolution (2560X1600) on the monitor?

Why didn't they try the adapter out on a new Mac mini? It would have been nice to get some confirmation on whether or not the Mac mini's Mini DisplayPort has audio support.
