I'm glad I didn't bother buying a DSi when they were released. Me thinks that Nintendo should spend more time to release a greatly improved/different console with a longer time period between, rather than a new one every 1 or 2 years with hardly anything changed/new.

And yes, it is Japanese, with an estimated 120 million native speakers. Native only, not including western people such as myself (gaikokujin) who are learning it. Here's a thing to consider: If you learn Japanese, you could play inported games waaay before they're released in America or Europe or wherever you may be - if they're even released there at all.

Anyway, until my DS Lite dies, or they stop making games for it, it's a keeper!!

I find it strange that the progression of technology went from lets make things really small and then wait now lets make them bigger.

I agree, I always feel like we are the last to know. But the way I look at it, by the time we get it bugs are usually found and fixed. I wait a few months before buying electronics just to be safe. Same thing with updates, never know when a PS3 update will kill your PS3...

And for the second point, I agree, English is so complex and filled with millions of rules and guidelines. It's so complex, I feel English teachers have it the worst in school. I could not teach English if my life depended on it.

You know that you're loosing credibility when the rest of the world is getting new electronics and release date for you is unknown. It's terrible how a small group of people makes us American seems like idiot. Go out and learn about other country/culture. Just because it's not English doesn't make it weird symbol. It's not like English is such a beautiful language.
