    this reminds me of when i had my handspring PDA and a fold up laptop sized keyboard for it. looked a lot like that... and did the same thing... i used it to take notes. $300 though? i spent less then that on my handspring($200) and keyboard ($70). and this was 7 or so years ago. plus my handspring had an IR port so i could print wireless on my school's laser printer which also had an IR port. oh and did I mention it also played games? lol

    A netbook probabnly be a better deal . It can do everything this devices can do and have a better LCD, CPU, OS, etc
