I've got one of these, had it for a while. Though the construction and total lack of electronics does make you wonder what the hell makes it costs the $$$ it costs... the results speak for themselves. Every bit as good as a $1000 Alien Bees powered ringflash. i'm using with on a Canon 40D with a 580EXII flash.

$200 is pretty cheap, considering the level of professionalism that one can now squeeze outta their cheap nikon SLRs..
