    If nothing else, this will prevent my Windows box (which doesn't have iTunes) from popping up that dialog asking me what I want to do with the device I just connected.

    "I see you've plugged in a phone. Do you want me to open Word?" Yes Windows, that's exactly what I wanted you to do.
