OhGizmo!: Private: That’s One Impressive Treehouse

I've had a fascination with this stuff since I was a tike. (I don't think I've ever used the word "tike" in my entire life). Anyway, I really get a charge out of this and remember a couple of cabins/treehouses I've built in my younger days.

That is one sweet tree house. I always dreamed of having a tree house as a kid but I never imagined anything to that scale thats for sure.

Awesome. How long did it take you to build this?

Didn't Bruce Wayne burn this place to the ground when he fought Ras Al Ghul?

Really awesome. The builder is a minister who uses it as a place to pray. I'm not religious but this is one church I would want to visit!

Looks like the builder has some childhood issues.

This reminds me of the "haunted" winchester mansion. Very cool, in a deathtrap kind of way.

Worth it to click thru and read the entire article. This is amazing and I'd love to see it sometime. I love he used recycled materials in building it as well. Wonder if Guiness will ever have a look?

You have to believe in the divine keeping the code inspectors away from this beautiful monstrosity! I especially love the basketball court/sanctuary - my church used to be a skating rink lol

WOW! This is really kind of cool. It reminds me of Bishops castle in Colorado, where it just never seems like it will end.

Childhood dream come true - heck I would move into such house any day, even now, given the chance. I am wondering though, could it be the same Burgess as the one from all the radio prank-calls, wouldn't that be a divine coincidence?

Through the links I found the whole flickr gallery for this and thought that even though it was huge and awesome, its not as cool as the swiss family treehouse. its very run down and rusty inside and doesnt have any cool ''Gadgets'' such as the water pump system or even a simple pulley elevator.
