I think many of the readers of ohgizmo build their desktop pc's themselves. And that news changes nothing for them. Vista 7 beta is out since months and nearly all hardware parts are already testet on it. And if I remember correctly if you buy Vista now, you will get Windows 7 for free after the release. Why shouldn't they buy their systems? If they wait for the new Intel Core, yeah I would do that, but not because of Windows 7. I have bought my system nearly one year ago and I have no fear that my Parts won't run.
Q6600@P5Q-E@4GB Ram Even my 5 year old wireless card will probably run under Vista because the driver is already integrated in Vista.
I hope my English is good enough for you. My teacher didn't like it.

I have, and since I'm a gamer, I tend to keep up on Windows releases on my main gaming rig. However, I have a Mac for a good deal of my other tasks.
